![]() ![]() Furthermore, the study revealed that gender, department type, and all smartphone use habits were significantly correlated with nomophobia. The results of the research brought to light relationships between extraversion, neuroticism, and openness to experience traits and nomophobia level. The differences between university students’ nomophobia levels in terms of demographic variables and smartphone use habits were assessed by one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and independent samples t-test.
